By early afternoon, the clean morning session has turned into giveback, fees, and frustration.

That is the Midday Chop problem: not one bad trade, but a low-quality period where discipline fades.

Why Midday Trading Can Be Dangerous

The middle of the trading day often has less opportunity for many intraday strategies. Volume can dry up, momentum can fade, and breakouts may become less reliable.

That does not mean nobody should trade midday. It means you should know whether midday helps or hurts your own results.
