Period Reports & AI Copy Prompts

Trandence provides two primary ways to review trading performance across periods and symbols: an algorithmic, deterministic Period Report built directly into the app, and Copy prompt for AI buttons that format your calculated data to paste into any external AI assistant.

Period Report (Algorithmic, Free)

The Period Report sits at the top of the Dashboard, above the General, Weaknesses, and Analytics tabs, and shows on all three. When you select 1M, 3M, or 1Y, the report covers the last completed calendar month, quarter, or year (it does not appear for a Custom date range).

A dedicated toolbar button (such as “2025 report” or “Q3 2026 report”) shows or hides the report panel.

The report is computed deterministically by Trandence’s own code with zero AI involved, ensuring consistent, repeatable findings based on your exact trade data.

What the Report Contains

• Verdict line: Your net result for the period with trades, win rate and net per trade.
• Where the money went: Up to three critical leaks, ranked by their total dollar impact. Detected leaks include:
  • Excessive commission and fee drag
  • A costly half-hour time window
  • A weekday performing worse per trade than your average
  • Re-entering right after a loss (within 5 minutes of a losing trade)
  • Trading on after three losses in a row
  • Overtrading days exceeding your trade limit
  • Exceeding your Daily Stop Loss
  • Outsized losing days
  • Excessive giveback from session peaks
  • A consistently losing playbook
• What works: Up to two proven strengths where execution produced edge.
• Rules for next period: Two actionable rules generated directly from your numbers to protect capital in the upcoming period.
• Context notes: Alerts when the sample size is small or when few trades have a playbook assigned.

Every finding requires a sample size of at least 5 trades to ensure statistical relevance.

Copy Prompt for AI

Instead of sending your private trade data to cloud AI services, Trandence lets you copy ready-made, highly structured prompts to paste into your preferred assistant — such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or any local model.

Where to Find It

• Period Report: A “Copy prompt for AI” button in the period report header.
• Symbol Review: An icon button in the Symbol Report header, immediately to the left of Fundamentals.

What the Symbol Prompt Carries

The generated prompt packages complete session context without overwhelming the model with raw bar data:

• All executions and trades for the session, grouped by playbook.
• Key price levels computed by Trandence from the chart (day high/low, pre-market range, opening range, support/resistance, new high/low runs). Raw candlestick bars are never included.
• Your pre-market plan, readiness scores, playbook rules, and post-market self-grades.
• Historical context over your trailing 90 days.
• What fields your journal is missing for that session.
• Explicit instructions asking the assistant to search the web for that day’s news, SEC filings, and company catalysts, requiring sources to be linked and instructing it to ignore information published after your final exit.

Clipboard and Privacy

Trandence builds the prompt on its own server from your journal and hands it to your browser to copy; it never sends it to an AI provider — you decide where to paste it. If your browser blocks clipboard access, the prompt opens in a modal dialog for manual copying.
