DAS Trader

DAS Trader Pro is a popular direct-access trading platform. You can export your trade history directly from the desktop application as a CSV file. Trandence imports stocks and options from the same file.

Exporting from DAS Trader Pro

The export comes from the Trades window, which lists the executions of the current trading day.

Set up the Trades window once

• If the window is not in your layout, add it from the Trade menu → Trades.
• Right-click inside it, choose Config, and open Columns. Trandence needs Time, Symb, Side, Price, Qty, Route, Broker, Account, Type and Cloid. Add EcnFees too if you want fees imported; without it every trade comes in with zero commission.
• Trading options? In the option chain, right-click → Config and turn on Use Full Option Symbol, so each row carries the whole contract (for example MSFT260821C415) rather than a short code.

Export

Right-click the Trades window and save it as a CSV file. Because the window holds one day, export at the end of each session, or use a report that includes dates if you need several days at once.

Import To Trandence

1. Open Trandence and go to the Trades page.
2. Click Import Trades and select Upload CSV/TXT.
3. Choose DAS Trader as the broker.
4. Set CSV Timezone to the timezone used by the broker export. For most US equities workflows, this is America/New_York.
5. Optionally apply an import preset if you use saved defaults for this account.
6. Select or drop the exported CSV file.
7. Review the parsed trades before saving. Confirm symbols, side, open/close times, quantity, prices, commissions, and the session date range.
8. Use Batch Tags to label the import, for example DAS Main or DAS June.
9. Click Import & Review Summary to save the import and open the post-import summary.

What Trandence Reads

Trandence reads Symb, Side, Qty, Price, and either DateTime or Time. The Trades window exports times without dates and holds a single trading day, so when the file has only a Time column the importer asks you to choose the trading day it covers and places every row on that day. Export and import one day at a time this way; a file with a DateTime column can span many days.

Trandence keeps supported US equity symbols, including common share-class formats such as BRK.A and BRK.B, and organizes the imported executions into completed trades for review.

• Stocks and ETFs: sides B, S, SS and BC.
• Stock and index options: DAS writes the contract into Symb as root, expiry, right and strike, for example MSFT260821C415 (MSFT, 21 Aug 2026, 415 call) or SPY260821P572.5. Trandence reads the contract from it, files the trade under the underlying, and prices it at 100 shares per contract. The sides B Open, S Close, S Open and B Close open and close long and short option positions.
• Futures (symbols starting with #, such as #ESZ2) are not supported yet. They are skipped, and the import preview shows how many.
• Adjusted options (a root ending in a digit, such as AAPL1, after a split or merger) are skipped, because the export does not say how many shares they deliver.

DAS records executions only. If an option expired, or was assigned or exercised, there is no row for it in the export, so the position stays open. Trandence lists such options under Expired options to resolve on the Trades page after their expiry date, where you choose what happened. Choosing Assigned or Exercised also adds the shares that were delivered.

Conflict Handling

If imported rows overlap with trades already in Trandence, use Review Conflicts to compare them before saving. The safest default is Keep Existing, which preserves the trade already in your account.

If you need to replace existing data, delete or correct the existing trades first, then import the file again intentionally. You can review completed imports from Import History.
