Robinhood
Robinhood lets you download your account activity as a CSV report. Trandence imports stocks and options from it, including option expirations and assignments.

- Go to Reports and statements → Reports.
- Choose Generate CSV, select the date range, and request the report.
- Robinhood prepares the file in the background. It usually takes a couple of hours and can take up to a day. Download it when it is ready.

- Click Import Trades and select Upload CSV/TXT.
- Choose Robinhood as the broker.
- Set CSV Timezone to America/New_York.

For the full import workflow, see Importing Trades.
What Trandence Reads
Trandence reads Activity Date, Instrument, Description, Trans Code, Quantity, Price and Amount.
- Stocks and ETFs:
BuyandSell. Fractional shares are kept. - Stock and index options: the contract is read from the description, for example
TSLA 6/19/2026 Call $250.00. The trade is filed under the underlying and priced at 100 shares per contract.BTO,STC,STOandBTCopen and close long and short option positions. - Expirations, assignments and exercises (
OEXP,OASGN,OEXCS): the option closes at $0. Shares delivered by an assignment or exercise are imported when the report lists them asBuyorSellrows; if yours does not, add them with Trandence CSV. - Fees: Robinhood charges no commission, but small regulatory fees are taken from the cash. Trandence reads them from the difference between
Amountand price × quantity, so a sale of 10 shares at $187.25 booked as $1,872.48 shows a $0.02 fee. - Skipped: deposits and withdrawals (
ACH), dividends (CDIV), subscription fees (GOLD) and other cash rows, and the disclaimer at the end of the file.
No Times Of Day
The Robinhood report has a date for each row but no time. Trandence puts each day’s executions in the order they happened and gives them consecutive seconds from 9:30 AM, so positions open and close in the right sequence and daily results are exact. Anything that depends on the time of day — hold time within a day, the time-of-day and entry-time charts — is not meaningful for Robinhood imports.
If an option was opened before the start of your report, its closing row or expiration has nothing to close and is skipped. Include the full period in which you held a position.
