Your Trandence account settings are the control center for identity, display preferences, risk rules, behavior detection, analysis controls, and billing.
To open them, click your profile avatar in the bottom-left application sidebar and choose Settings.
The Settings dialog currently contains six tabs: Profile, Preferences, Risk Profile, Behavior, AI Coach, and Subscription.
Profile
The Profile tab shows your Account Information: name, email, and avatar. If you use Google sign-in, authentication remains tied to your Google account.
- Upload or Change Avatar: Select a JPG, PNG, or WebP image under 5 MB. Trandence opens a crop dialog, then uploads the cropped avatar.
- Remove Avatar: Delete the custom avatar and return to the generated initials fallback.
- Trading Style: Choose Day Trader, Swing Trader, or Hybrid. This setting controls the base behavioral thresholds used by Trandence. Custom Behavior settings can still override the preset.
Preferences
The Preferences tab controls how data is displayed across the platform.
- Chart Timezone: Sets the timezone used for charts, calendar boundaries, daily statistics, and session grouping. The default is
America/New_York, with grouped options for common US, European, Asian, and Pacific markets. - P&L Display Mode: Choose Net (after fees) or Before Fees. Net mode is a Pro feature; Free users are forced to Before Fees.
- Global Risk Display Mode: Choose Hybrid (USD + R-Multiples) or R-Only. Hybrid shows both dollar values and R-Multiples when a Daily Stop Loss is available; R-Only keeps the analysis normalized to risk units.
For the detailed risk and display workflow, see Risk Profile.
Risk Profile
The Risk Profile tab contains your Risk Matrix. It maps setup quality grades from A+ through C to the percentage of Daily Stop Loss you are willing to risk on that setup.
Trandence loads your saved matrix from account settings and falls back to defaults when no custom matrix exists. Each value is clamped between 0% and 100%, then saved with Save Risk Matrix.
Behavior
The Behavior tab is a Pro feature. Free users see a Pro gate and an upgrade link.
For Pro and trial users, this tab controls automatic behavior detection:
- master Behavior Analysis toggle
- Day Trader, Swing Trader, and Hybrid presets
- per-rule enable switches, thresholds, and trade-class scope
- auto-save after changes, with a visible saving/saved/error state
- Reset to Defaults, which returns the account to the live preset for the selected style
For the full workflow, see Behavior Settings.
AI Coach
Trandence AI Coach tab controls data-driven analysis features.
- AI Coach toggle: Enables or disables trading insights across the app.
- Clear Analysis Cache: Removes cached analysis so Trandence can regenerate verdicts and coaching output from current account context.
Use this after major changes to playbooks, risk settings, or behavior configuration when you want future analysis to reflect the updated rules.
Subscription
The Subscription tab shows plan access and Deep Dive credit inventory.
- Plan: Shows Free Plan or Pro Plan. Trial users count as Pro for feature access while the trial is active.
- Renewal or access label: Pro users may see renewal or access-until dates; trial users see days remaining in the trial.
- Deep Dive Credits: Shows total credits, active credit batches, remaining credits per batch, progress bars, and expiry countdowns.
- Upgrade or buy links: Free users can open pricing from the tab; users without credit packs can open the credit purchase flow.
For details, see Subscription & Credits.
