Trandence

Behavior Settings control how Trandence detects behavioral trading patterns such as revenge trading, euphoria, desperation entries, fee drag, and systemic risk. Open Settings > Behavior Config from the profile menu.

Master Toggle

The behavior detection toggle is the master switch. When it is off, behavioral detection is skipped and behavioral badges or chart markers should not appear.

Presets

Behavior Settings include presets for different trading styles:

  • Day Trader - intraday-focused thresholds.
  • Swing Trader - multi-day holds with more relaxed thresholds.
  • Hybrid - a mix of intraday and swing rules. Selecting a preset applies a ready-made configuration for your trading style. Editing an individual rule changes the profile to custom.

Auto-Save

Behavior Config saves changes automatically, so there are no separate Save or Discard buttons. The UI shows:

  • Saving… while the update is being sent.
  • Saved after the update is complete.
  • Save failed if the change cannot be applied. Close Settings only after the save state is clear.

Detection Rules

Each rule can be enabled or disabled and limited to the trade classes where it should apply.

Revenge Sizing

Flags unusually aggressive sizing after a losing trade.

Time Revenge

Flags quick re-entry pressure after a losing trade.

Desperation Entry

Flags trading that continues after a loss streak.

Euphoria

Flags trading that becomes aggressive after a win streak.

Tilt Zone

Flags trading that continues after drawdown has moved close to the daily risk limit.

Catastrophic Averaging

Flags adding to a losing position when the trade or session is already under pressure.

Fee Drag

Flags sessions where fees become large enough to distort the trading result.

Systemic Risk

Looks across multiple losing days and checks whether risk was reduced enough after repeated breaches.

Trade Classes

Rules can apply to:

  • INTRADAY - same-day trades.
  • SWING - multi-day trades shorter than a position hold.
  • POSITION - longer holds. At least one class must remain selected for each rule.

Reset To Defaults

Click Reset to Defaults to remove your custom behavior config and return to the live defaults for your trading style. Reset saves immediately and cancels any pending auto-save.
