Trandence

Broker Sync connects a supported brokerage account to Trandence so trades can be imported without uploading a CSV/TXT file each time. It is designed for users who want recurring broker-based imports while keeping the same trade reconstruction, reports, and analytics used by normal imports.

Open Broker Sync from the app sidebar.

Access

Broker Sync is available to paid Pro users. If your account is not on paid Pro, Trandence redirects away from the route or shows a Pro gate explaining that broker sync requires an upgrade.

Trial access unlocks many Pro controls, but the Broker Sync route is guarded for paid Pro access.

Supported Brokers

The current Broker Sync screen supports:

  • Webull
  • Webull Canada
  • E*Trade
  • Tastytrade
  • Fidelity
  • Chase
  • Charles Schwab
  • Robinhood
  • Public
  • Vanguard
  • Moomoo
  • Alpaca

Alpaca uses a direct OAuth connection with Trandence. The other listed brokers connect through SnapTrade’s secure broker connection portal.

If your broker is not listed, use the CSV/TXT import workflow instead. See Importing Trades.

Connect A Broker

  1. Open Broker Sync.
  2. Choose a broker card from Connect a Broker.
  3. Complete the broker authorization flow.
  4. Return to Trandence after authorization completes.
  5. Check Active Connections to confirm the broker, account badges, connection status, and last sync time.

For Alpaca, Trandence guides you through the broker authorization flow and returns you to Broker Sync after authorization.

Sync Trades

Click Sync Trades on an active connection to fetch broker activity and import executions into Trandence.

Broker Sync uses the same trade reconstruction behavior as CSV/TXT imports. After sync, the new or updated trade records feed the rest of the platform:

  • Trades table filters and saved views
  • Calendar P&L and period summaries
  • Journal Day Reports and Symbol Reports
  • Dashboard metrics and behavior analysis
  • Risk Analyzer and AI review surfaces

After a sync finishes, Trandence shows how many trades and executions were created and how many open trades were updated.

Import History

Broker syncs are traceable in Import History. They appear as broker-based imports, so you can review counts, status, and imported sessions without exposing the original broker connection details.

Use Import History when you need to confirm counts, investigate a failed or partial import, or export a support report.

Disconnect A Broker

Use Disconnect on an active connection when you no longer want Trandence to sync from that broker account.

Disconnecting stops future broker syncs for that connection. It does not automatically delete trades that were already imported. If you need to remove imported trades, review the Trades table and delete only the records you intentionally want to remove.

Troubleshooting

If Broker Sync does not import the data you expected:

  • Confirm your account has paid Pro access.
  • Reopen Broker Sync and check whether the connection status is active.
  • If the broker shows no accounts, disconnect and reconnect the broker.
  • If sync completes with zero new executions, confirm the broker account has completed buy or sell activity in the selected period.
  • Check Import History for failed or partial jobs.
  • Use CSV/TXT import as a fallback if the broker connection is unavailable.

Need Help?

If a broker connection fails or synced trades do not match your broker account, send the broker name, account type, approximate trade date range, and any Import History report to [email protected].
