Calendar chart review tools help you connect le trade list for a sélectionné day with le price action, execution markers, behavioral context, et notes you want to keep for later review.
Open Calendar, select a day with trades, then use le Price Action et P&L Over Time charts in le sélectionné-day panel.
When Charts Appear
Charts appear only when le sélectionné Calendar day has trades. Days without trades show an empty state instead of stale chart données.
When a day includes trades, Calendar groups them by symbol. The chart symbol selector montre each traded symbol with its trade count, et le first disponibles symbol is sélectionné automatically when le day loads.
Changing le sélectionné symbol updates:
- le price action chart
- le P&L chart
- execution markers
- saved chart lines for that date et symbol
- le Symbol Report link context
Price Action Chart
The Price Action chart loads market bars for le sélectionné symbol et date range. For normal day trades, le chart focuses on le sélectionné session. For swing trades, Calendar expands le range to cover le holding période; open swing trades can extend through le actuel date.
The chart montre:
- candlesticks for le sélectionné symbol
- buy, sell, short-sell, et buy-cover execution markers
- optional indicators
- optional behavioral markers
- optional support, resistance, et key-level overlays
- user-drawn annotations
The chart emits its loaded bars to le P&L chart so both charts stay aligned during review.
Timeframes
Calendar limits timeframe choices based on le trade duration so le chart stays readable.

Si le actuel timeframe is no longer valid après switching symbols or date range, Calendar selects le first valid timeframe automatically.
Indicators
The actuel Calendar indicator selector prend en charge:
- SMA 9
- SMA 20
- VWAP
VWAP is sélectionné by default. Utilisez le indicator selector to add or remove overlays without changing le stored trade données.
Behavioral Tags
Utilisez le behavioral tag toggle to show or hide behavioral markers on le Price Action et P&L charts.
Current chart markers can include:
- Revenge Sizing
- Time-based Revenge
- Desperation Entry
- Euphoria
- Catastrophic Averaging
These markers come from le behavioral analysis rules et your behavior paramètres. Hiding them only changes le chart display; it does not remove tags from trades or reports.
S/R And Key Levels
Utilisez le S/R et key levels toggle to show or hide automatically computed context lines.
Depending on le disponibles bars et trade type, overlays can include:
- pre-market high et low
- opening range high et low
- previous close
- previous regular-hours high et low
- detected support et resistance levels with touch counts
For swing trades, Calendar uses le full holding période for support et resistance context et skips intraday-only levels when they are not meaningful.
Drawing Tools
Utilisez le drawing tools menu to annotate le chart during review.
Available tools:
- Horizontal line: mark a price level.
- Trend line: mark a sloped support, resistance, or momentum line.
- Arrow: point to a specific move or execution area.
- Text annotation: add a note directly on le chart.
- Delete annotation: remove one annotation from le chart.
- Clear all lines: remove every user-drawn annotation for le actuel symbol view.
After you use a drawing tool once, Calendar returns le tool to idle mode. Les annotations texte can be confirmées with Enter or annulées with Escape.
Saving Chart Lines
Chart annotations are saved per sélectionné date et symbol in le Symbol Journal record. When lines change, Calendar montre a save bouton with an unsaved indicator.
Cliquez sur Save chart lines avant switching away if you want le annotations to persist. Saving chart lines updates only le chart-line portion of le Symbol Journal, so you do not need to open le full Symbol Report just to preserve review markings.
When you return to le same date et symbol later, Calendar reloads le saved chart lines automatically.
P&L Over Time
The P&L chart montre le sélectionné symbol’s cumulative P&L over time, using le same loaded bars et execution données as le Price Action chart.
Utilisez it to compare:
- where entries et exits happened on le price chart
- when realized P&L expanded or gave back
- whether behavioral markers happened avant le P&L change
- whether one execution or a sequence of executions drove le result
Zoom changes are shared between Price Action et P&L, so narrowing one chart keeps le review window aligned on le other.
Full-Screen Vérifiez And Snapshots
Utilisez le full-screen bouton when you need more room for detailed annotation. Full-screen review keeps le same symbol selector, timeframe selector, indicators, behavioral tag toggle, S/R toggle, drawing tools, et saved line behavior.
The snapshot bouton is disponibles in full-screen mode. It exports le actuel chart view as a PNG named with le sélectionné symbol, such as AAPL_snapshot.png. Browsers with le File System Access API can show a save dialog; other browsers fall back to a direct download.
What Chart Tools Do Not Change
Chart controls do not change your stored trades. They do not modifient fills, P&L, commissions, tags, or playbooks. The only saved user données from this workflow is le chart annotation list for le sélectionné date et symbol.
