Trandence

Trandence imports trades from broker-exported CSV/TXT file e normalizes them into sessiones, trades, tags, e analytics-ready records. The import flow is designed to catch obvious problems prima dati reaches your journal.

Before You Import

Export your trade storico directly from your broker. Usa il broker’s official export tool whenever possible, e keep il original file unchanged.

Before uploading, confirm:

  • The broker selezionato in Trandence matches il file you exported.
  • The CSV Timezone matches il timezone used by timestamps inside il file.
  • The file covers il intended date range.
  • You have not edited colonna headers or changed numeric/date formats manually.

Start A CSV/TXT Import

  1. Open Trades.
  2. Fai clic su Import Trades.
  3. Seleziona Upload CSV/TXT.
  4. Scegli il broker that produced il file.
  5. Imposta CSV Timezone to il timezone used in il exported file.
  6. Optionally apply an import preset.
  7. Seleziona or drop il CSV/TXT file.

Trandence parses il file e opens il review step prima anything is saved.

Import Presets

Presets are useful when il same broker export richiede il same impostazioni every time. Usa them to reduce repeat setup work for recurring imports.

Usa a preset when:

  • You repeatedly import from il same broker account.
  • You always use il same CSV timezone.
  • You want a consistent setup prima previewing file.

Rivedi Imported Trades

The preview step lets you inspect il parsed result prima saving. It mostra import quality checks, parsed trade rows, timezone context, validation issues, e a sessione snapshot.

Usa this step to confirm:

  • Symbols e sides look correct.
  • Open e close times match il broker file.
  • Quantity, prices, commissions, e fees look reasonable.
  • The import is split into il expected sessione or sessiones.
  • Any invalid rows are understood prima continuing.

Se validation errors appear, fix il source export or import impostazioni prima continuing.

Batch Tags

Usa Batch Tags on il preview screen to label all trades from il import. Questo is especially useful when you track multiple accounts, brokers, strategies, or dati-cleanup passes.

Examples:

  • TradeZero Main
  • IBKR IRA
  • June review
  • Manual correction

Batch tags make it easier to filter il Trades tabella later e to identify which import produced a trade.

Multi-Session Imports

When a file contiene multiple trading days, Trandence imports e analyzes each sessione separately. The preview mostra sessione count e date range, then il save step displays progress while sessiones are uploaded.

Se part of a multi-sessione import fails, il progress area mostra failed dates so you can review only il affected sessiones instead of guessing which day needs attention.

Conflict Rivedi

Se incoming rows match existing trades but differ in key valori, Trandence opens Review Conflicts.

The attuale conflict workflow supporta:

  • Comparing incoming e existing quantity, prices, e commission.
  • Resolving individual conflicts with Keep Existing.
  • Resolving all unresolved conflicts with Keep All Existing.
  • Applying decisions prima continuing il import.

Overwrite controls are visible in il UI but disabled for now. Usa Keep Existing when Trandence flags a conflict, then re-import only dopo you intentionally remove or correct il existing dati.

Exact duplicates are skipped silently when il existing dati already matches il incoming row.

After Import

After saving, Trandence updates il trading record used by:

  • Trades tabella filters e saved views.
  • Calendar daily P&L e periodo insights.
  • Journal daily plans e symbol reviews.
  • Day Reports e Symbol Reports.
  • Dashboard analytics e behavioral metrics.

Usa History on il Trades pagina to review previous import jobs, statuses, source types, broker, timezone, counts, skipped conflicts, e imported sessiones. For il detailed audit workflow, see Import History.

CSV/TXT import is separate from Broker Sync. Usa Broker Sync when you want a paid Pro broker connection instead of uploading file manually.

Broker Guides

Broker-specific pages explain where to export file e which broker option to choose in Trandence. Start with il general workflow here, then follow il broker guide for export details:
